No, conference registration and MASSP membership are separate.
While we would love to have you as part of our professional community year-round, your registration fee covers the direct costs of the event itself—including keynote speakers, breakout sessions, venue amenities, and meal functions. It does not automatically enroll you as a dues-paying member of the Mississippi Association of Secondary School Principals.
Why are they separate?
We keep these distinct to provide flexibility for our attendees.
-
The Conference: A one-time professional development investment focused on immediate learning and networking.
-
The Membership: An annual partnership that provides legal support, legislative advocacy, and discounted rates on future events.
Can I bundle them together?
While they are separate line items, many of our attendees choose to renew or join MASSP during the registration process to take advantage of the lower "Member Rate" for the conference. In most cases, the savings on the registration fee nearly covers the cost of the membership itself!
Note: If you aren't sure of your current membership status, please contact us before completing your registration to ensure you receive the best possible pricing.
